About Us
How Airbooks Was Formed
AirBooks started with a team of young aviation professionals with a mission to challenge the traditional way of learning. Frustrated with manual binders and stacks of printed material, they believed there must be a better way to harness digital technologies.
The team valued how information is packaged as well as the content. In order to capture and maintain people’s attention, media rich content should engage and cater to all styles of learning and ages.
AirBooks was formed with assistance from Airways New Zealand’s pedagogy and subject matter experts. Ongoing end user testing helped develop a platform and content that is intuitive, interactive and relevant. AirBooks can be utilised anywhere, anytime and at any pace.
