The 051 ATS Licensing Subjects course contains a series of seven modules, providing students with a comprehensive introduction to Air Traffic Services. This training programme forms the essential base knowledge for all other air traffic control and flight information courses (Aerodrome Control, Approach Control Procedural, Area Control Procedural, Area and Approach Control Surveillance, and Flight Services).

Students will develop specific theoretical skills in Air Traffic Services procedures and techniques required as base knowledge prior to further simulation and on-the-job training.

A minimum of 6 students per course is required. This course can be run full time for a period of 8 weeks, or part time for 16 weeks.

Withdrawals I understand that if I withdraw my enrolment prior during the withdrawal period referenced below the following refunds will be given in accordance with the Education and Training Act 2020 (New Zealand):
